Chasing Ice, filmed by National Geographic photographer James Balog
Initially a climate change skeptic, nature photographer James Balog documents the effects of global warming on the remote and massive glaciers of the Arctic. Using time-lapse photography, Balog captures a multi-year record of the world's glaciers. The impact is breathtaking, with footage of massive glacial calving and shrinkage.
