Osprey Nest Live Stream

CHECK OUT THE LIVE STREAM OF OUR OSPREY NEST BELOW! You can also go to our main YouTube page to access the latest live stream which will be active at the top of our videos or under the “Live” tab. You can access the archived footage from here too. Please subscribe to our channel for future updates on the Ospreys. We restart the live stream twice a day since YouTube only records and archives less than 12 hours at a time, and we want to document the whole experience. There is not one continuous stream link on YouTube, but the live stream below on our website will always be the most current one.

Updates

  • April 3, 2024: The female laid her first egg around 7 a.m.

  • March 10, 2025: An Osprey pair took up residence on our platform started nesting.

  • March 7, 2025: Live stream of the Osprey nest started on our YouTube Channel. The nest was visited by an Osprey twice (and it sat on top of the camera!), but it didn’t stay.

  • March 3, 2025: A new, functioning camera was installed to provide a live video feed of our Osprey nest thanks to Garrett Pensell from Tidewater Marina.

  • December 2024: Raised money through the President’s Challenge to purchase a new camera.

  • Spring 2024: We didn’t have Ospreys use our nesting site for a number of years, but in 2024, thanks to a volunteer idea and the local fire company (Susquehanna Hose Company pictured), sticks were added to the nest and an Osprey pair took up residence the next day. Unfortunately, we did not know our live feed nest camera was not working. We could not go up to the nest to retrieve it because we did not want to disturb the Ospreys. Volunteers worked to fix it, but were unable to. We do not believe they had any viable eggs.

  • 2019-2023: No Ospreys and no live stream.

  • 2018: YouTube live stream with Ospreys present.
