Please join the Environmental Center and Jodie Shivery from Ecologically Sound Landscapes for an Invasive Plant Management workshop outdoors at the Maritime Museum on Wednesday, June 26th at 6:00 PM.

This evening workshop is the first of several, training volunteers and interested community members about invasive plants, how to identify and manage them, and how to promote native species growth.

The Environmental Center is looking to train volunteers to help create a "Weed Warrior" team, which will assist in managing invasive species in our restoration projects along the Havre de Grace Promenade. If you are interested in helping keep the shoreline beautiful, and learning about invasive plant species and proper management, consider joining us on Wednesday evening.
