Blue crabs, oysters, striped bass, and osprey all depend on the success of submerged aquatic vegetation (SAV). SAV is the foundation of all food chains within and beyond the aquatic environment. Join us for a FREE two-part program. During the first session, you will learn about how SAV is critical to the health of the Bay. If you are interested in volunteering to protect this critical resource, stay for the second session to be trained as a Citizen Scientist volunteer to help monitor SAV in the Upper Chesapeake Bay.
