Join the Chesapeake Bay SAV Watchers from the Chesapeake Bay Program and the Havre de Grace Maritime Museum for an all-day Submerged Aquatic Vegetation (SAV) Watcher Train-the-Trainer event. Stay tuned for an agenda closer to the event.

Submerged Aquatic Vegetation (SAV) is grass that grows underwater and is an important natural resource in Chesapeake Bay and around the world. SAV Watchers are riverkeepers, watershed groups, and volunteers who are trained and certified to assess SAV bed density, recognize epiphytes and macroalgae, and more.
