Celebrate Black History Month by learning about the Underground Railroad and its connection to Harford County, the Susquehanna River, and the Chesapeake Bay through our exhibit, Other Voices of Freedom. This class will include a lesson and story. After the class, explore the Maritime Museum.
This learning experience will be best received by 5 - 10 year old children. Parents must accompany children. No adults will be admitted to the class without children. To ensure that the class goes smoothly, please arrive at least 5 minutes early.
Pre-registration is required - classes fill up quickly. Though pre-payment is not required, we encourage you to do so to guarantee a spot in the class. The cost is $5 per child. Admission to the Maritime Museum is FREE with the purchase of the class. Adults accompanying children are free.
