2nd Annual Shrimp and BBQ Fest

The Havre de Grace Maritime Museum held its 2nd annual Shrimp and BBQ Fest “under the big tent” at Hutchins Park in Havre de Grace on Saturday, June 2, 2018. Even though the weather threatened to downpour throughout the day, the weather for our event was dry and breezy – just perfect!

A sold-out crowd of more than 150 guests attended the fundraiser event enjoying delicious steamed shrimp, artisan smoked foods, and artistically-designed delectable desserts provided by Route 40 Barbecue. We were so pleased to work with Nic and Lynn Galloro of Route 40 Barbecue. They did a fantastic job with the food!

There were a large array of baskets and items that were raffled off as well as 50/50 raffles and Bingo Popp-Opens. The baskets were loaded with fun and exciting items ranging from movie night, Ironbirds tickets and memorabilia, Maryland Pride hand-painted crab shells, Frito Lay snacks, massage and pampering items, pet items, toolbox filled with tools, ice cream goodies, bottles of wine and crystal wine glasses, Italian gourmet items, beach fun, BBQ items, Margarita Magic, a Canvasback hand-carved decoy, gourmet coffee, and wonderful items and gift cards from around the City of Havre de Grace in a hand-crafted basket.
