Hydrofarming: A Lecture with Charlie Pendorf

On Saturday, August 4th, the Maritime Museum hosted a lecture with Charlie Pendorf on Hydrofarming.

Charlie Pendorf is the Founder and Chief Operations Officer for the Hydrofarm Inc., a small platform hydroponic operation focussing on the quality and efficiency of commercial lettuce production. This off-grid farm utilizes solar power, less than 10% of water than a traditional farm, and operates on a fraction of the land that would be expected for the volume produced.

In his lecture, Charlie discussed how hydroponics can be used at home.
