Bob Zentz, the "Tidewater Troubadour," returns to the Havre de Grace Maritime Museum on July 12th with a fascinating repertoire of ballads and songs, many collected from the wilds of the Virginia Tidewater region, along with a load of traditional instruments collected over a lifetime of music making. Accompanied by his wife Jeanne McDougall, he offers an evening as varied and interesting as the instruments he plays—every song has a story. From working chanteys to fo’c’stle ditties, he’ll fill the room with a touch of sea spray and briny humor, even as he makes it easy for audiences to sing along.
