Indigenous Peoples Class

Celebrate Native American Heritage Month by learning about Indigenous peoples who lived along the Chesapeake Bay through our exhibits about the Susquehannock tribe and local petroglyphs, including real and replica artifacts. Each child will create a craft. After the class, explore the Maritime Museum.

This learning experience will be best received by 5 - 10 year old children. Parents must accompany children. No adults will be admitted to the class without children. 

Pre-registration is required - classes fill up quickly. The cost is $5 per child. Admission to the Maritime Museum is FREE with the purchase of the class. Adults accompanying children are free.
